Officials: Wildlife products may finance terrorism

NEW YORK (AP) — Federal officials say the U.S. government is cracking down on the illegal trafficking of wild animal products across borders — especially through New York's Kennedy Airport, where some of the imports may be linked to terrorists. Froman says such trade is a threat to global security because it's driven by criminal elements.
