Trade Group Sues to Block Seattle’s Minimum-Wage Law

The franchise industry's main trade group filed a lawsuit Wednesday to block Seattle's new minimum-wage law, alleging it discriminates against independently owned franchisees by making them phase in the increased wage at a faster rate than other small businesses.
